This three-bedroom, two-bathroom luminous and modern house with a front porch near volcanoes and a rainforest sleeps up to nine guests with a queen-sized bed and two full beds complete with orthopedic mattresses. Each bed is fitted with flannel or soft Egyptian comforters. There are futons as well, and guests may request extra futons for additional guests. All the appliances are new including the 55-inch flat-screen TV and home theater with unlimited Netflix, Pandora, and other features. The kitchen is fully equipped and complete with a microwave, a toaster, a blender, a coffeemaker, and a barbecue grill outside. The kitchen is stocked with complementary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, as well as microwave popcorn and herbal tea. Guests can relax on the hammocks or cozy up around the wood fireplace. There is a special playground set up for small children, and guests may request high chairs. Older children will enjoy the variety of board games provided, as well as a the ping pong table. Movies and Hawaiian books are also provided. There is also a washer and dryer.
The price is listed for double occupancy. There is a $20 fee for each additional guest.
The host here works with a self-check-in system, meaning guests will receive a keycode for the front door upon confirmation of their reservation. The local contact person will not be there to greet guests upon their arrival, but she is just a phone call away and is happy to assist with anything they may need during their stay.
Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 pm on the date of arrival and check-out time is by 11:00 am sharp.

The town of Hilo is just 25 miles away, full of restaurants, shops, and museums to visit, as well as a full golf course. Snorkeling beaches are also near the town, as well as Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, known for watching turtles nesting and swimming.
The main attraction at this Hawaiian glamping property is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, only a mile away and home to two of the world’s most active volcanoes called Kilaue and Mauna Loa. Guests can hike along the natural lava flows or through the beautiful tropical rainforest. Volcano village offers plenty of interesting local shops and delicious restaurants, not to mention the wonderful Sunday morning farmers’ market. Downtown Hilo is only 40 minutes away, which is also a great option for dining or visiting museums and shops. In addition, there is a local skate park and playground for children.
The daily rate is based on a double occupancy. There is an additional fee for each extra guest after two guests and up to the maximum occupancy of ten guests. There is an $85 cleaning fee and $15 booking fee, plus tax, per stay.
