Perched on a clifftop with breathtaking views of Northern California's majestic Mount Shasta, this cabin rental is located near Dunsmuir and can accommodate up to six guests. Children will love the loft, which is furnished with a twin and a queen-size bed. Linens and towels are provided.

This northeastern corner of California is an outdoor lover’s paradise, with safe-to-explore volcanoes, vast lush forests, rivers, waterfalls, and lakes to explore. Ideally located near the upper Sacramento River, guests staying at this accommodation will not have to stray far to fish in blue-ribbon trout streams, take a picnic by a waterfall, or enjoy cooling off in one of the area's many swimming holes. The quaint Dunsmuir, a former railway town, has plenty to offer the discerning traveler including a microbrewery pub, a farmer's market, and plenty of railroad history to discover. The dramatic granite spires of Castle Crags are nearby, the centerpiece of a beautiful state park where guests will find 28 miles of hiking trails and excellent fishing opportunities.

In winter months, the area transforms into a haven for snowsports, including backcountry skiing and snowboarding, cross-country, and sledding. Mount Shasta Board and Ski Park is an excellent downhill resort, with 425 skiable acres, snow parks, and even night skiing.
