Beautiful California Glamping Tent Ideal for Nature Getaways

Bell tent in Grass Valley, CA

4 guests • 1 bed

This beautiful rental is perfect for a relaxing, fun, or romantic getaway. The glamping tents are 12 feet wide and come with a plush mattress with a memory foam topper. The hosts provide several nice additions to ensure a comfortable stay including an outdoor kitchen, restrooms, and outdoor showers, which are all within five minutes walking distance. One parking spot is also included with the tent rental.

During their stay at Heartland, guests will enjoy a lovely view of the lake and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, and glampers have access to all the facilities on the property including the lakefront area. Adventures abound around Heartland, including a gorgeous hiking trail that is marked around the outskirts of the sanctuary that runs alongside the lake.

The hosts advise guests to bring their own food and beverages in a cooler.

*Please note Tent #1 & Tent #2 are 20 feet from each other. If guests are friends, that's perfect. If you don't know your neighbor, it's still ok to be close to them, but sometimes you may want more privacy.

All other tents are roughly 200 feet from each other. Tent #3, #4 and #5 offer the most privacy.

All tents are setup with one queen size bed, linens, and blankets. The 12 foot round tent could sleep 4 small humans but it is setup for 2. If you'd like 1-2 additional single beds setup we can arrange that for $15/ea.

Glampers will have plenty to do during their stay here in Northern California. Getaways at Heartland mean that guests can enjoy a dip in Camp Far West Lake, watch the fantastic sunsets, and walk through the fields with the cows that roam free.

Guests should note that the lake is a reservoir and it is low between September - November. Swimming is still possible, but the walk to the swimmable area of the lake is farther. During this time, the bottom of the lake offers remarkable river hikes, and within a 15-minute drive away there is a really scenic clear water swimming hole with a tire swing.

The hosts also recommend a day trip to the famous Yuba river, which is approx. one hour away.
