Located ten minutes away, Scotts Flat Lake is a great place to go kayaking and canoeing. Take the one-hour drive to the Tahoe National Forest for some fun in the sun and hiking. If guests wish to plan a day trip to the big city, then head only two and a half hours south and enjoy San Francisco. However, guests can also feel free to explore the organic gardens, take a nap in the hammocks, or simply lie in the sand next to the calm pond.
