This tranquil cottage is nestled on a six-acre permacultural farm near Santa Rosa, California, the perfect place for guests to immerse themselves in the serenity of the surrounding nature and find their inner zen. The farm is surrounded on all sides by a sprawling cluster of towering redwood trees, formidable oaks, and soaring Douglas firs, though the farm itself is situated on a glade ensuring guests get plenty of natural sunlight.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated with contemporary bohemian-style furniture, providing maximum comfort to any guest staying here. The interiors give the cottage a kaleidoscopic feel, with vibrant shades of red and orange in one room to soothing hues of blue in another. Most of the furniture has been meticulously curated and picked out from the owner's collections during her travels around the world.

There is one bedroom and one bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to four guests at a time, though additional guests may be added subject to an extra charge. The bedroom includes a queen-size bed, though there are additional sleeping quarters in the living room with a queen-size futon. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes anything a guest may need during their stay, including a coffeemaker, a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, an oven, and kitchenware.

Outside, guests have full access to the spacious farm. They are free to wander throughout the gardens to pick out fresh produce for their meals or feed the chickens, sheep, goats, and llamas. On the grounds, guests will find a private deck, complete with patio furniture, a fire pit, and a hammock. Guests can also relax in the spacious hot tub, soaking in the harmonious euphonic sounds of nature.

For an alternative way to tour the wilderness, guests can horseback ride through the towering forested paths or take a canopy tour via zip-line.

After an exhausting day of adventure and exploration, guests can take it easy with a short traffic-free walk away to the charming hamlet of Occidental, which offers an up-and-coming arts and culture scene, from catching a classical music performance to visiting the 80-acre Occidental Arts & Ecology Center. This eclectic community is perfect for a quiet evening of shopping and dining.
