Winter Travel Information

When traveling to Tahoe during winter months, please be prepared for winter driving conditions, possible road closures, and delays in snow removal.

Our snow removal crews work daily; however, we have no control over county snowplows responsible for clearing public roads.

4WD and/or tire chains are strongly recommended
Low-profile vehicles may experience difficulties during snow events
Tahoe occasionally experiences power outages during snow, rain, and wind storms
Lanterns are provided for guest use, though availability may vary
