The charming mountain cabin in North Lake Tahoe is located near Sugar Bowl Resort in California and has a hot tub on the deck and is surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The peaceful environment is great for a retreat to the snowy mountains. A beautiful stone floor greets guests in the entryway and the living room has hardwood floors, cozy couches, a wood stove, and access to the deck outside which has a hot tub. The wooden kitchen has a three seat breakfast bar and plenty of counter space.
The cabin accommodates up to eight guests comfortably. The master bedroom is on the secluded top floor. It has a slanted wooden ceiling, a full bed, and a bathroom. The gorgeous cabin has a Swiss chalet feel, with a spacious wrap-around deck encompassing the wooden exterior. There is a hot tub to enjoy after an exhausting day on the slopes. A grill is available to use on the balcony as well. Inside, the living room has a wood stove and board games. Guests have access to the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center which is a short drive away. The state-of-the-art facility has personalized workout classes, a kids club, pool, sauna, fitness center, hot tubs, and spa!

Location + Surroundings
This snowy and rustic cabin is the perfect mountain getaway. Situated in the lovely North Lake Tahoe, it is just five minutes to the ski lifts at Northstar and Squaw Valley. Sugar Bowl Resort is a thirty-minute drive but it has more trails available for adventurous skiers and snowboarders. There are great hiking and biking trails near the cabin in addition to King’s Beach which makes it a recreational wonderland. The Trout Creek Recreation Center is less than two miles away and boats can dock at the Tahoe Donne Marina during the warmer months. Guests are provided with a pass to access the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center. However, there is still a small fee to use the facilities.

Winter is the best time of year in the Tahoe region. Just five miles away is the small ski resort Tahoe Donner Skin Area that has four ski lifts and 14 trails. Along the Donner Pass of Sierra Nevada is Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. The mountain has more lifts, trails, terrain parks, and has an elevation of 6,883 ft. Royal Gorge is North America’s largest cross-country resort with eight distinct trail systems and nine different warming huts across 6,000 acres that are integrated with the Sugar Bowl.
For activities closer to the cabin, guests can visit the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center for access to a fitness center and pools. During the summer, the Beach Club Marina has paddle boards, sailing, and docks to relax on. There are also two different golf courses in the area for guests to choose from. Downtown Truckee is fun for shopping and visiting historical sites. There are also wine bars and restaurants for a night out!
