This impressive log cabin getaway for large groups is situated in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California close to Half Dome and Yosemite Falls, and comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. With four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, there is plenty of room for both friends and families at this woodland escape. There are two master bedrooms, one upstairs and one on the main level. Both feature a plush king-size bed, a cozy stone fireplace, a flat screen television, and a luxury ensuite bathroom with a double sink vanity, a toilet, whirlpool tub, and a separate standing shower. The third bedroom has another king-size bed and a flat screen television, while the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. A queen sofa sleeper in the loft and a murphy bed in the game room provide additional sleeping space if needed. In the third and fourth bathrooms, guests will find a toilet, a sink with granite countertops, and a bathtub and shower combination. Linens and towels are provided.
The cabin’s main room is ideal for entertaining, boasting an open floor plan, impressively high vaulted ceilings, unique log-paneled walls and ceilings, and luxurious décor around every corner. The living room features two plush leather sofas, two leather armchairs, a rocked fireplace, and a flat screen television. Adjacent, there is a fully equipped kitchen that would be every chef’s dream featuring granite countertops, a large island that also serves as a breakfast bar for four, and stainless steel appliances including a stove, a double oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. Next to the kitchen, glampers can gather together at the copper-topped dining table for 12 to enjoy a delicious meal and plan the next day’s adventures. Just off the dining room, there is a game room with a pool table. The entrance and main level of the cabin is wheelchair-accessible.
Outside, a private, covered deck boasts a built-in gas barbecue and a large picnic table overlooking the stunning Yosemite National Park, great for grilling out on a cool night.
Glampers will have access to entertainment facilities including a pool table in the game room, satellite television, a DVD player, and a VCR player, and Wi-Fi. For guests’ comfort, there is a washer and dryer, as well as central air conditioning and heating. Two of the four bathrooms also have a luxurious whirlpool tub. The telephone also allows guests to make free domestic and international calls with some limitations. Outside, there is a covered deck with a gas barbecue grill and a picnic table, providing the perfect spot to cook out and unwind after a fun day exploring Yosemite National Park.

This area offers endless possibilities for exploration and family-friendly activities. Glampers seeking an outdoor adventure have found the right place. With endless trails through Yosemite National Park right at their fingertips, guests will never tire of hiking, biking, geocaching, and rock climbing. Plenty of gold panning opportunities are also nearby for both the beginners and the experienced. If guests want to stay a bit closer to town, they can take a carriage ride at the Big Trees Stables, go for a scavenger hunt to visit all of Wawona’s 20+ carved bears or spend the afternoon practicing their swing at the Big Trees Golf Course. When the weather gets cooler, visitors can try their hand at snowshoeing through the neighboring meadows, ice skating in Yosemite Valley, or skiing at Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. For a bit of the local history, visitors will love taking a ride on the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad steam train.
