Description of Glamping Units
This pet-friendly nature lodge is located in Lyle, Washington, and can accommodate 16 to 20 guest with more than one guest in some of the beds. There are six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a television. The second bedroom has a full-size bed and two twin-size bunk bed sets, providing four twin-size beds in total. The third and fourth bedrooms have one twin-size bed each. The fifth bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full-size bed. The sixth bedroom has a queen-size bed, a full-size bed, a sofa, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Linens and towels are provided.
There are three living rooms areas, in which guests will find a grand piano, a library, toys, games, a television with cable and a DVD player, a CD player, a movie library, and sofas. There is also a solarium, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area with two small dining tables and a large dining table that seats ten guests. This cabin is located in Lyle, Oregon, and is situated on a peaceful, 40-acre site that enjoys views of both the Columbia River and Mount Hood—the highest mountain in the state, reaching heights of 11,249 feet. About three miles to the west, guests will find the Klickitat River, where they will also find hiking trails that run alongside it. Columbia Hills Historical State Park A number of state parks are located on the shores of the Columbia River, including Memaloose State Park, Mayer State Park, Doug's Beach State Park, and Columbia Hills Historical State Park, which covers 3,338 acres and provides ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. The city of The Dales is about half an hour south, where guests will find a variety of shops and restaurants. Guests can go hiking, swimming, rock climbing, and paddle boating at Columbia Hills Historical State Park, with paddleboat rentals available through the park. Guests can also go hiking on the trails along the Klickitat River. They can go flat-water kayaking, whitewater kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding on the Columbia River, with rentals and tours available from local companies such as the Gorge Paddling Center. Guests can shop and dine in the city of The Dales. At the site, they can play horseshoes, basketball, and board games, as well as solve puzzles and soak in the hot tub.
