Nestled in the heart of nature, our brand new, cozy, and modern 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental is your ticket to a serene getaway for 5-6 guests. Kick back and relax on the expansive deck, explore nearby nature trails full of wildlife, or channel your inner angler and reel in some fish from our ponds—because yes, you can totally be a fishing pro here! With all the essentials like a washing machine, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a stovetop, microwave, granite countertops, and a refrigerator, you’ll feel right at home (just with way more trees and fewer emails).

Parking? We’ve got you covered! There’s plenty of gravel space for up to 6 cars and even an RV hookup out front. Just a heads-up: the driveway has a slight incline, so if you’re on a motorcycle, approach with caution—nobody wants a dramatic entrance that involves a tumble!

Ready for a little adventure? The loft area requires climbing steps or a ladder, so channel your inner mountain goat and ascend with pride!

And if you’re feeling fancy, a private horse-drawn wagon ride can be arranged with one of the locals—because who wouldn’t want to live out their fairytale dreams?

Got pets? Bring them along for the fun! Just a heads-up about our neighborhood dogs—Biscuit, Shorty, Shiloh, and Ranger. They’re friendly but can be a tad territorial, so keep an eye on your furry friends until they’re all best buds. They aren't our dogs but we treat them as family. You might find one of the local pups napping on the porch or in the flower bed. They’re harmless but do have a knack for barking at other dogs, especially during the witching hours of the night.

Speaking of adventures, we have a lovely pond out front where fishing is encouraged! But, bring your own poles. Just be aware it’s down a steep hill, so kids will need to be supervised. If you need live bait or fishing gear, there’s a local bait shop just 1.5 miles away.

For your shopping needs, Sav-A-Lot and Dollar General are a mere 1.5 miles away, and if you’re craving ice cream (who isn’t?), Dairy Queen and Walgreens are about 7 miles into town. Plus, there’s an auto parts store and a hardware store nearby for all those “just in case” moments!

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Lee County right from your charming haven. Adventure awaits with thrilling rock climbing at Pendergrass Murray Recreational Preserve (PMRP) and Miller Fork Recreational Preserve. Take a picturesque hike or bike ride to Flat Holler Sandstone Arch, or enjoy canoe and kayak rentals along the scenic South Fork and North Fork of the Kentucky River. For the adrenaline junkies, explore Hollerwood Offroad Adventure Park, tackle the trails in Backroads of Appalachia, or unwind at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park. Lee County is also a stop on the Moonshine Trail, featuring the fascinating Beattyville Hillbillies Backwoods Moonshine Museum. Situated in the foothills of Daniel Boone National Forest, this cabin offers a true nature experience. You might encounter local wildlife, including bugs, spiders, snakes, and yes, even bears, so embrace the rustic charm and remember: they’re more scared of you than you are of them!

Also, the cabin is right off the road. The good news is that the road isn't very busy but you will hear the occasional vehicle drive by.

I have a tool shed adjacent to the property and down the gravel road. I may need to drive onto the property and access the shed occasionally.
