For the music fans, there is amazing music at the Bluegrass Underground at the Cumberland Caverns just 20 minutes away. There are several unique dining experiences if guests don't feel like cooking. These include Fall Creek Falls, Collins River BBQ in McMinnville, the Cookie Jar Cafe in Dunlap and some of the best pizza at Andy's in Dunlap.

There is a potential for gunshot noise as hunting occurs in the woods. No hunting is permitted on the property. There is also the potential to hear coyotes yipping, owls hooting, and the occasional dog barking (usually from the coyotes). and its possible to hearing a bear huffing and grunting.
What guests will likely see is deer, turkey, and guineas. What they'll possibly see is a coyote and a bobcat (both have been seen running through deer camp in the middle of the day). and of course in the warmer months, always be on the lookout for snakes.
