Secluded Sedona Tiny House in Woods Near Lake | Fire Pit, Hammocks, Full Kitchen & Breakfast

Tiny house in Lebanon, TN
4 guests • 1 bedroom • 2 beds • 1 bathroom
It is secluded Sedona in the Impossible Forrest! Only 35 to 40 min to downtown Nashville. Beautiful patio, fire pit, hammocks, grill, stove, frig, microwave, pots, pans, utensils, full bath, comfy heat/AC, GREAT WiFi, TV, DVD player, CD player & more! Primitive trails & 500 feet from the lake. Free laundry and ice onsite. Includes Country breakfast at Starstruck Farm 7 to 9:30 am! Starstruck Farm is 3 miles north on SR109. Lots of photo opps there also!
1. The home and Twig City Farm is about fun and having a great life experience."
2. ..........a fun and unique stay in a tiny house in a rural setting? Jays says, "C'mon! You are my kind of guests!"
3. Are we going to book this place to throw a big party? Jay says, "Sorry, but my places are not "party central" meet up places."
4. Pets are welcome but they have to be clean, well groomed, house broken and crated when you are away!"
5. It is tucked into the back of our Twig City "Impossible Forrest"! Why do we call it the Impossible Forrest? Because you will see huge trees growing up out of boulders and solid rock!
Note about use of very primitive walking trails and use of grounds: “All guests agree to hold host harmless in the event of injury that might be sustained through use of the primitive trails, woods and grounds in general.”
Note: For guests who want to sleep in the loft: The loft sleeping area is accessible by a small wooden ladder that is about 6 feet tall. The loft does not have a rail as of December 7, 2017 and accordingly you need to be advised that your use of the loft is at your own risk as part of this rental contract. It is my plan to install a rail by January 1, 2018. Thanks! Jay
The Sedona is secluded BUT my Twig City property is in a rural - not isolated or remote setting and there are various normal farm and rural sounds you might hear at random times.......you might hear other people, pets, birds and animal wildlife, farm sounds like a tractor running or a chain saw cutting wood, yee-haws, shouts of Go-Vols!, duck hunters off in the distance, boats, thunder, wind chimes, a plane flying overhead and yes random vehicles including an occaisional Harley going down Academy Road. Although rural and zoned agricultural my property is not in an isolated or remote area completely free of other humans, nature and associated noises. I have added this "legalese" to my listings attempting to "accurately reflect" what sounds a guest might hear during a stay. Geeeeeessshh! Thanks! Jay
Arrive anytime after 3 pm - the key will be waiting! You will have the entire home all to yourselves! Additionally, you will share access to a 10 acre wooded area with very primitive hiking trails that will take you to the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake among other places. Note: These trails are rough trails. Guests have access to very primitive walking trails but agree to do so at their own risk as a part of the rental contract.
There are several options for taxi service. If you want to go in luxury, Uber Black is around $90 each way. Uber, Lyft or Mt. Juliet Taxi Service are all ride options.
The area public roads are narrow and very busy and IMO not conducive to biking or hiking on them as they are too narrow and there is too much traffic.

Distances to Cities, Shops, Restaurants and Nashville. Nashville and surrounding areas are all within an easy and comfortable driving distance and are simple to get to. Twig City is located about 6 1/2 miles from Gallatin, Tennessee; 29 miles from downtown Nashville and 30 miles from Music Row; 24 miles to Nashville International Airport; 16 miles to the Nashville “eastside” city limits. Providence Marketplace is only 12 miles away in Mount Juliet. Mount Juliet is also home to hundreds of shops, restaurants and fun things to do. DINING:
Great local “Mom & Pop” restaurants: Cherokee Steakhouse is located at the marina about 4 miles to the north just off SR 109 and has excellent steaks at very reasonable prices. Big Al’s BBQ is located about 4 miles south on SR 109 and has excellent hickory smoked BBQ. Courtney’s Cafeteria is located in Mount Juliet, about 10 miles away and is a great “meat and three” cafeteria style place with reasonable prices. Chinese? I suggest China Moon for great tasting, great value Chinese carry out and to dine in try the Far East Buffet in Mount Juliet, an excellent Chinese buffet with a Mongolian BBQ grill. Mount Juliet also has just about every major franchise restaurant imaginable. Mexican? There are at least 10 Mexican restaurants in a 5 miles radius of Mount Juliet! Hickory Smoked BBQ. This is the BBQ capital of the South! Try Big Al's, Blue Moon BBQ in Gallatin or Lebanon or “BarBCutie” in Mount Juliet. Also, Martin's in Mount Juliet is excellent but a bit high priced.

Important Note: Please consider that you are reserving a listing located on a farm and in the country. It is not unusual to see an occasional insect or small Tennessee wildlife (including Stuart Little on very rare occasion) during your visit. If this is an issue for you or anyone in your party please do not make a reservation. I am not able to provide a full or partial refund.
Perfection, Comfort, Luxury, Rain and Leaky Roofs: We are “Perfectly Imperfect” and cannot guarantee that you will be in perfect comfort and luxury. Don’t make a reservation if you expect a Hilton type experience. We are not in that business. During heavy rains, there might be a roof leak particularly in teepees and glamping tents. There could be occasional maintenance issues and we will always resolve them in the quickest timeframe possible. We will always do our best but don’t expect perfection please.
Hunting: We do not permit hunting of any type of either property and in fact consider the farms to be Tennessee Wildlife Preserves. However, you could hear occasional gunfire off in the distance because hunting is legal in Tennessee and is an integral part of the Tennessee heritage and culture.
Fireworks and Farm Noises: You are likely to hear typical farm noises during your visit. We also have fireworks periodically throughout the year, on holidays and special events.
After Hours Guest Services: Also, we cannot be responsible for being “on-call” after 6 p.m. for minor guest needs and services. Repair of maintenance issues might not be possible until the following morning. Upon your arrival please inspect your listing inside and outside and let us know then, if something needs to be addressed, rather than late at night. Please arrive before dark to become acclimated and to enjoy the properties.
First of all, think Family Friendly. Here are a few key HOUSE RULES:
1. NO SMOKING INSIDE!. Also, please do not throw cig butts on the ground. If you smoke inside you will be charged a $150 fee
2. PETS & CHILDREN. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY PARENTS OR GUARDIANS AT ALL TIMES.
ALSO - Pets cannot run loose on the property. Please clean up after them and dispose of properly. ALSO, EACH PET NEEDS TO BE REGISTERED AS A GUEST, EITHER AS A CHILD OR ADULT.
3. Insurance does not allow me to furnish wood or charcoal for free. You are welcome to use firewood that has fallen from trees on the property or you can purchase firewood at almost all Tennessee grocery stores and gas stations. WE ALSO SELL FIREWOOD.
4. I strongly suggest you bring bug spray and sunscreen.
5. Respect your fellow guests. QUIET TIME STARTS AT 10 PM AND INCLUDES TV'S IN ROOMS BEING LEFT ON ALL NIGHT. Loud, unruly, impaired/obnoxious guests will be escorted from the property without a refund. NOT party central...….Only registered guests are allowed on property. If you have a reservation and invite unregistered friends to come over and "hang out" your reservation will be cancelled without a refund.
6. Family Friendly and proper attire please. No shirt, no shoes, no service policy enforced. ALCOHOLIC DRINKS MUST BE IN KOOZIES WHEN IN PUBLIC VIEW PLEASE OR CONCEALED IN SOME REASONABLE MANNER.
7. Due to the "nature of the beast" I cannot refund charges due to weather.
8. PLEASE DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHAT IT IS.
It is equipped with a small window AC unit and a wood burning stove and a ceiling fan. Please exercise care in its use. Also, you are encouraged to bring extra clothing and blankets, sleeping bags, electric blankets and anything else that will add to your comfort if needed. (DO NOT BRING ADDITIONAL ELECTRIC HEATERS OR YOU WILL TRIP THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS.)
9. EVENTS. Events are subject to cancellation or postponement due to weather or other reasons and we cannot guarantee they will go on as planned. In that event we will adjust your charges in a reasonable manner upon your request.
10. LOST KEYS. You agree to pay $50 in the event you lose or do not leave the key in the doorknob when you check out. This fee is to reimburse us for rekeying the door lock(s).
