This magnificent family-friendly cottage rental offers beach access in the small community of Caplen near Crystal Beach, Texas and can accommodate ten guests.

There are two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and one- half bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a comfy memory foam mattress and a 35 inch flat-screen TV. The large second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a twin-size bed and a set of twin-size bunk beds. A full-size futon and a queen-size memory foam pull-out sofa, both in the living room, provide the additional sleeping space for any groups larger than eight. In the full bathroom, guests will find a vanity, a toilet, and tub/shower combination. The half-bathroom consists of a sink and a toilet. Linens and towels are provided.

In the living room, guests will find two comfy sofas and a cozy chair with ottoman. There is a 42 inch flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a small stereo with a docking station. A variety of books, board games, and movies are available for guests' leisure and entertainment enjoyment. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. Small appliances include a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a coffee grinder, a crockpot, and a blender. Cookware, dinnerware, and all utensils are provided. The dining area has a large table that seats six and the kitchen island can seat four. Extra chairs are provided for additional seating. High chairs are available for those traveling with small children.

Other amenities include air-conditioning, heating, Wi-fi, satellite TV, landline telephone, washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board.

Outside, there are two impressive decks that wrap around three sides of the cottage. Both decks feature gated railings to ensure the safety of small children and pets. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs lining the decks making them an ideal location for relaxing and enjoying the views of the beach and the bay. The ground level is comprised of a large, covered, concrete slab. Here, guests will find a picnic table, an enclosed sand shower, and a fish/shell cleaning station. Once the fish has been cleaned, guests can head over to the permanent stainless steel charcoal grill to fry up a delectable fresh fish dinner. An impressive staircase connects all three of these outdoor spaces. Guests have the choice of walking or driving to the beach or can rent a golf-cart from the nearby peninsula. There is on-site parking available.

Please note: This rental includes only the first-floor unit. The upper unit is not for rent and is unoccupied. Guests will have full access to all decks.
