Located near the Blue River in the Blue Range Primitive Area, this rustic and beautifully-decorated cabin is a quality camping escape. It was named after Linda Thiel, who, along with her five children and partner Jim Thudin, had owned this property from 1981 to 1996. It can sleep up to a total of three guests and comes with one bedroom. This bedroom offers up a comfortable queen-size bed, as well as a twin roll away. Inside, guests will find a lovely living area with a futon bed and a wood-burning stove, as well as additional seating. It has a full kitchen, with a large refrigerator, a four-burner stove with an oven, a microwave. Additionally, it comes with a modern private bathroom with a shower. Outside, guests with enjoy a patio, as well as a small table for dining outdoors. This area looks out to the meadow on site and makes the perfect place for guests looking relax after a long day of exploring Eastern Arizona.
The hosts provide comfort and luxury with stunning modern amenities and facilities, such as an on-site restaurant in the lodge, however, a rustic old-world charm is maintained throughout the getaway, with no cell service or televisions, for a truly unique outdoor experience. Guests can, however, stay connected with the Wi-Fi on the property. Glampers are welcome to take advantage of the lodge lobbies and sitting areas where they will find open fireplaces and wood burning stoves. All the log cabins are heated for comfort and warmth during winter, and each cabin features an equipped kitchen.
There is a restaurant located on the site which is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week. Guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet, which is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Glampers will also have lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lastly, there is a 'Cowboy Cook Out' which takes place every Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm from Memorial day weekend to Labor day weekend. Dinner reservations are highly recommended for larger groups.

Located in the Bush Valley of Arizona, this property offers a plethora of jaw-dropping wildlife and unlimited outdoor activities. Head to the Blue Vista Scenic Overlook and take in the views at an elevation of 4,000 feet above the valleys below. Here, guests can see the immaculate Mogollon Rim, as well as views of the Blue Range and other mountain peaks. Glampers can also head to the nearby Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, a paradise of nature in all seasons. This forest is home to over 400 species of fish and big game including elk, deer, antelope, and bear.
Along with sightseeing the natural wonders of this region, guests can also explore the surrounding area on horseback, go fishing at the Blue Fish Hatchery or, for the adventurous types, go mountain biking. Additionally, guests can take advantage of plenty of winter activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking. Kids can go sledding right on the property and families can enjoy the convenience of having plenty of snow trails right out their front door! The trails on the site are free of charge and, at an elevation of 9100 feet, offer fresh snow and one of the longest winter seasons in the state!
