The host requires a signed lease agreement within seven days of booking confirmation. Minimum age of the primary renter is 25. Only registered guests on this agreement are permitted to stay overnight unless written approval is given by the hosts

Rates are listed for two guests. There is an additional fee of $20 per guest, per night, after the first two guests. Up to 14 guests can be accommodated here.

Two days before check-in, the host will send guests the exact physical address and the door code via email so they can access the accommodation.

For guests' security, there is a ring doorbell camera at the entrance to the accommodation, which faces out towards the driveway.

No Smoking nor illegal substances or activities are permitted anywhere on the property. No parties are permitted.

Dogs are not automatically approved. The hosts will discuss with guests, then let them know if they are approved. Only dogs registered as overnight guests are allowed on the property. No other pets/animals are permitted. This property is very dog-friendly, and there is no extra fee involved. Guests are provided with two "baby" gates—one for indoor use and one for outdoor use—so the dog can get in plenty of play time while staying safe and out of harm's way.

Property is not ADA compliant nor infant proof. Access to the property is via stairs and a spiral staircase.

This property is in High Peaks Adirondacks region. No refunds will be given due to interruption of electrical or connectivity service.

On the first floor of the accommodation, there is an all-tile space, where guests can put a dog bed and put up the dog gate if they are going out and do not want to bring the dog along. This eliminates the need to crate the dog, as well as to have to pack a bulky crate. This part of the accommodation is also a great area for storing non-motorized sports gear, including bicycles, kayaks, fishing gear, ski boots, skis, luge sleds, and more.

A fun fact about this property is that proceeds will go to help fund the hosts' 11-year-old daughter to train on the U.S.' Olympic luge team.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.

The Adirondacks region of Upstate New York provides countless opportunities for fun and adventure, as well as relaxation, all year round. In the wintertime, guests can take advantage of the rentals close proximity to Whiteface Mountain, which offers up top-notch winter sports conditions for the skiers and snowboarders of the group.

In Lake Placid, glampers will be able to find outdoor adventures to be had no matter the season, as well, including going for a stroll around Mirror Lake; getting in the water with a kayak or canoe or going fishing; cross-country skiing, skating, and even extreme tobogganing; hiking one of the area's 46 High Peaks; and so much more.

Perhaps less spoken of—but certainly no less exciting—is the Ausable Chasm, which is often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks," and is a truly a sight to be seen. At the Ausable Chasm, they will be able to take a tour, but also get their blood pumping by going cliff hiking, mountain biking, and river rafting.

Come summertime, or when weather permits, guests can also go swimming at Lake Wilmington, which is just eight miles from the rental. Other must-sees include the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Rehab Center, which includes a wolf sanctuary, and the many Olympic sites around the Adirondack region. For more suggestions, the hosts are always available via text, email, or phone call both before and during guests' stay and happy to give local recommendations. They have tons of information to share and love doing so!
