This cozy and authentic tipi rental is located on a working horse ranch in Hudson, Colorado, just 35 minutes from Denver. The 20-foot tipi can accommodate up to six guests, plus pets, for an authentic and unforgettable glamping experience. There is a floor mattress available in the accommodation, but guests should bring along anything else they’ll need during their stay, such as linens, towels, cots, mats, blankets, and other camping essentials. Glampers will have access to a shared bathroom, with a toilet and a sink. The bathroom facilities are within walking distance from the tipi, but there are no showers.
Drinking water is provided by the host. There is a small propane fire pit with seating in the tipi that provides some heat, though guests should still be prepared for cold evenings. The fire pit is not for cooking. Guests will enjoy a quiet, secluded spot on the working ranch grounds, with parking available right next to the accommodation. There is a $100 security deposit held on the guest's card at the time of booking that will be released back to the guest 10 days after check out pending no damages.
Pets are welcome. Guests must keep their pets on a leash so they don't wander off and get hurt by a horse, and they must not be left pets unattended. Guests are kindly asked to bring a bed for pets to sleep and ensure they are not allowed on the bed.
Smoking is not allowed on the property.
Guests staying in the tipi must bring blankets and/or sleeping bags, but the hosts can provide some loaner sleeping bags if guests forget them at home.
The wagon has blankets and sheets provided, however, glampers should bring extras in the colder months of the year.
Guests staying in the wagon must not burn wood in the burner.

Since the property is a working ranch, guests are asked to keep the gates closed and to not go into the horse pens. Most of the horses are friendly and love nose scratches, and the hosts suggest saying hello to Kirby, their mini fainting goat, and to throw a ball for Elle.
The door to the tipi is secured by several clips on each side. The hosts recommend rolling up the door and tying it off for easy access. The door can be unrolled and secured from the inside at night. Please be courteous and close/clip the door when leaving.
The hosts provide a small fire pit for a small amount of heat and the warm glow lights up the entire tipi. A black knob is located on the side of the tipi. Guests need to turn the valve half way to turn on the gas and press the valve in to provide more gas while lighting the fire pit. The hosts recommend that guests light one of the provided BBQ lighters prior to turning on the gas. Once the fire pit is on guests can adjust the flame using the valve. Glampers should make certain they turn off the fire pit before falling asleep and make certain the gas is off before they leave.
A fire pit and some wood for burning is provided. Guests can feel free to gather any small sticks they can find for kindling. Campfires are only allowed if there is not a fire ban. Guests should check with the host if they are uncertain if a fire ban is enforced during their stay. Only small fires are allowed and guests mustn't burn cans or glass. Once guests are done with a fire, they should drown the fire with water from the creek using the buckets provided.
