This cozy and authentic tipi rental is located in Hudson, Colorado, just 35 minutes from Denver. The 20-foot tipi can accommodate up to six guests, plus pets, for an authentic and unforgettable glamping experience. There is a floor mattress available in the accommodation, but guests should bring along anything else they’ll need during their stay, such as linens, towels, cots, mats, blankets, and other camping essentials. Glampers will have access to a shared bathroom, with a toilet and a sink. The bathroom facilities are within walking distance from the tipi, but there are no showers.

Drinking water is provided by the host. There is a small propane fire pit with seating in the tipi that provides some heat, though guests should still be prepared for cold evenings. The fire pit is not for cooking. Guests will enjoy a quiet, secluded spot on the working ranch grounds, with parking available right next to the accommodation. The tipi has been pitched at a beautiful creekside location, and glampers are welcome to explore the creek bottom or take a wander around the ranch. The wide open space and lack of light pollution outside the tipi make this an ideal location for stargazing.

This is an authentic camping experience, so guests should not expect to find an array of modern facilities, although they should have everything they need for a fantastic getaway. Drinking water is available at the taps if needed. Guests will have access to a shared bathroom close by, but should be aware that there are no showers available.

Best of all, glampers will enjoy a gorgeous creekside location, and the hosts will be close at hand to offer advice about the area or to answer any questions that guests may have. Those traveling with pets will be pleased to know that four-legged glampers are welcome at this property but must be attended at all times and remain on a leash.

The hosts ask that guests keep gates closed and don't get into the horse pens. Most of the horses are friendly but guests shouldn't touch or feed the horses. Guests should make sure they say hello to Kirby the fainting goat and throw a ball for Elle the ranch dog.

This gorgeous glamping rental is located on a working Colorado horse ranch. The 20-foot tipi is pitched next to a live creek that flows through the picturesque property and sits on an elevated wood deck. The interior is beautifully furnished with a queen-size bed, a fire pit, a coffeemaker, a small gas grill, and electric lanterns for light. Other items are provided to make guests' experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable.

The ranch is located just a short drive from the airport and approximately 35 minutes from downtown Denver. Upon arrival, guests will drive by the pastures and pens that are home to many of the resident horses on the property. During their trip, guests should make sure they take the opportunity to check out the Keenesburg Wild Animal Sanctuary just a few miles away. If they are lucky, they might even hear the lions and tigers that live at the sanctuary calling for their breakfast in the morning.

Many of the comforts of home are provided for guests glamping experience but visitors should make sure they are prepared to stay in the great outdoors. The hosts encourage bringing extra blankets, bug spray, warm clothes, flashlights, drinking water, and other items guests might need to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. Guests should be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. The gas fire pit in the tipi does provide a small amount of heat but is not for cooking. An outdoor fire pit with firewood is located next to the creek so guests can roast s'mores.

A clean portable toilet is located just a few steps from the tipi. Unfortunately, there are no showers unless guests are brave enough to jump in the creek or the cow's water tank. If needed, potable water is available out of the spigots located at the corners of the horse pens.

The proximity of this property to the city of Denver means that guests will have easy access, by car, to all of the usual attractions of a big city, such as shopping, dining, and entertainment. Denver also boasts great nightlife and is well-known for its art galleries. Guests who wish to will be able to attend live sporting events and musical performances. Denver has dozens of museums, where glampers can learn about everything, from science and nature, to the history of toys.

During guests stay at the ranch they should make certain to take time to visit the Keenesburg Wild Animal Sanctuary. The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 10,473-acre sanctuary for more than 480 rescued animals. The facilities represent the largest carnivore sanctuary in the world and are designed and built like no others in existence.

There are several state parks close to the property, the nearest being Barr Lake, which is a premier bird watching area. Visitors can spot an array of waterfowl and other plants and animals. A trail circles the lake, offering prime wildlife viewing. Other activities available in the park include fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, archery, volleyball, and seasonal snowshoeing.

During the winter months, there is skiing, snowboarding, and other seasonal activities on offer not too far from the property, and guests can take their pick from several venues. Loveland is only an hour's drive away and features 94 runs, from beginner to advanced, 10 lifts, and a terrain park.

Golfing enthusiasts will be able to choose from numerous local courses, with several being within a 30-minute drive of the property, such as Coyote Creek, Riverdale, and Buffalo Run.

The property is just under 75 miles to the Rocky Mountain National Park, which encompasses protected mountains, forests, and alpine tundra. The park is ideal for hiking, with 355 miles of trails, or glampers can just relax with a picnic and enjoy the amazing scenery. There are countless opportunities for unique and memorable photos, so visitors should be sure to remember their cameras. Nature lovers will be in their element, as they can find 60 species of mammals, 280 recorded bird species, 11 species of fish, and countless insects, including a surprisingly large number of butterflies.

There is a $100 security deposit held on the guest's card at the time of booking that will be released back to the guest 10 days after check out pending no damages.

Pets are welcome. Guests must keep their pets on a leash so they don't wander off and get hurt by a horse, and they must not be left pets unattended. Guests are kindly asked to bring a bed for pets to sleep and ensure they are not allowed on the bed.

Smoking is not allowed on the property.

Guests staying in the tipi must bring blankets and/or sleeping bags, but the hosts can provide some loaner sleeping bags if guests forget them at home.

The wagon has blankets and sheets provided, however, glampers should bring extras in the colder months of the year.

Guests staying in the wagon must not burn wood in the burner.

There is a small propane fire pit in the tipi that provides some heat, though guests should still be prepared for cold evenings. The fire pit is not for cooking.

Since the property is a working ranch, guests are asked to keep the gates closed and to not go into the horse pens. Most of the horses are friendly and love nose scratches, and the hosts suggest saying hello to Kirby, their mini fainting goat, and to throw a ball for Elle.

The door to the tipi is secured by several clips on each side. The hosts recommend rolling up the door and tying it off for easy access. The door can be unrolled and secured from the inside at night. Please be courteous and close/clip the door when leaving.

The hosts provide a small fire pit for a small amount of heat and the warm glow lights up the entire tipi. A black knob is located on the side of the tipi. Guests need to turn the valve half way to turn on the gas and press the valve in to provide more gas while lighting the fire pit. The hosts recommend that guests light one of the provided BBQ lighters prior to turning on the gas. Once the fire pit is on guests can adjust the flame using the valve. Glampers should make certain they turn off the fire pit before falling asleep and make certain the gas is off before they leave.

A fire pit and some wood for burning is provided. Guests can feel free to gather any small sticks they can find for kindling. Campfires are only allowed if there is not a fire ban. Guests should check with the host if they are uncertain if a fire ban is enforced during their stay. Only small fires are allowed and guests mustn't burn cans or glass. Once guests are done with a fire, they should drown the fire with water from the creek using the buckets provided.
