Meeker is located in Colorado at the west end of the Flat Tops Trail Scenic Byway, it is only a few miles away from the main access points to the 235,000 acre Flat Tops Wilderness, which is the 2nd largest in Colorado and is truly stunning. In the summer there are many fun-filled activities for the whole family to enjoy such as horseback riding, hiking, fishing and rafting. You can do all these while looking over the spectacular landscape, appreciating being on a fantastic vacation. In summer, guests can enjoy winter sports in Meeker such as snowmobiling and cross country skiing. They are very popular as you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the trees camouflaged in the snow, a camera does not do the views justice.
