With such an amazing location, there are a plethora of activities that guests can enjoy. One of the best things to do in the area is taking a walk on the beach, admiring the area’s amazing views and wandering around the property.
At Long Bay Regional Park, visitors can enjoy a nice, quiet picnic, soak up the sun on Long Bay’s kilometer-long sandy beach, or walk one of the trails in the area that ends with amazing panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf. While on the beach, visitors can enjoy a good swim, throw a ball, or for those traveling with children, even fly a kite.
Auckland’s city center is just a 30-minute bus drive away from Long Bay Regional Park and offers a great variety of dining and shopping options like Westfield Albany Mall for travelers looking for the big-city experience. While in the city, visitors can go up the Sky Tower for panoramic views and bungee jumping for adrenaline enthusiasts, or they can visit the sights of an extinct volcano, now the city’s oldest park.
