The area is renowned for winemaking, and guests will have endless options for wine tours and tastings nearby. There is a third-generation winemaker with more than 40 years of experience onsite who is passionate about the wine industry and is happy to share his knowledge with guests. His expertise is even available in the form of a personalized winery adventure tour. If interested, guests should inquire with the host to arrange the tour. Adventurous guests can spend the day hiking through New Zealand's breathtakingly gorgeous countryside, fishing in Elk River, or even taking a boat out onto the water. Mountain biking is extremely popular in the region, and various tours are offered nearby. Also on the property is a fourth generation farmer who is happy to show guests around the farm. Guests can meet the friendly farm dog and the resident farm cat, feed farm animals, and even bottle feed a lamb!

For those seeking a taste of city life, an abundance of activity can be found in neighboring town Napier. The town was completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, then completely rebuilt in Art Deco style. There, guests can enjoy unique architecture, check out the kid-friendly aquarium, take a walking tour of local art galleries, or sip a latte in a charming cafe. Napier offers excellent nightlife and entertainment and is just a short drive from the property.

After a day of adventure, glampers can unwind on the deck to the soothing chorus of native birds in the surrounding gardens and trees. With abundant wine and awe-inspiring views, this is one of the most relaxing and romantic glamping spots on the coast!
