It is tucked away amongst the hills of Pahoia and region is known for its warm sunny climate, endless sandy beaches, lush forest, spectacular seafood, citrus orchards and kiwifruit vines, and fiery sunsets over the Kaimai ranges. Within driving distance, guests will be able to reach numerous sites such as the Coromandel, famous for its coastal scenery and rich history, the thermal wonderland of Rotorua, Lake Taupo, and the dramatic Huka Falls.

There are fishing charters available and lovely beaches to visit. Inland, guests can seek out the best waterfalls, lakes, and thermal springs. The Kaituna River offers excellent white water rafting and kayaking. There are also scenic hot air balloon and helicopter flights for those who dare.
