Kingston offers an array of outdoor recreation and opportunity to reconnect with nature while still remaining close to the bustling Queenstown. On-site, glampers will ample to do without having to travel far. Here, they can enjoy garden games, a BBQ area, a games room, a cinema room, the use of kayaks and bikes, and plenty more. For those looking to take the waters, the scenic Lake Wakatipu offers swimming (if guests dare!), kayaking, boating, and fishing. The nearby Mataura River also offers plenty to do and both of these spots are ideal for a family picnic beneath the shadow of the trees.

For the adventurers, Eyre Mountains Conservation Park and the Around the Mountain Cycle Way offer amazing trails, paths, and fishing spots for the hikers, bikers, trampers, and trout anglers. Closer to Queenstown, glampers can enjoy some heart-thumping action with whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, and swinging across a deep canyon on New Zealand’s largest swing.

For those that like to indulge, Queenstown boasts a vibrant nightlife and incredible restaurants while the scenic Gibbston Valley, also known as the "Valley of the Vines," is perfect for wine lovers with vineyards, a rugged landscape, and the Kawarau River gorge nearby. Back in Kingston, glampers can enjoy a scenic stroll, grab a bite to eat at the cafe, and visit the Kingston Flyer, a historic steam train parked up right here in Kingston.
