With Fiordland National Park accessible by car, guests should enjoy a day trip there to visit the incredible scenery including the high peaks and the stunning lakes. Te Anau is nearby and is an excellent spot to sight-see, particularly the Te Anau Caves. Also nearby is Milford Sound, a beautiful spot to watch the local wildlife like seals and penguins, or to enjoy the cascading waterfalls. Doubtful Sound is an 8 minute walk to their departure point. Another nearby spot is Routeburn Track, where guests can hike, jog, take photos, and see more waterfalls. The nearby city of Invercargill is a great spot to shop, dine, and sight-see and is less than two hours away.
