Down in a disused quarry near the coast, there is a natural habitat of blue penguins that waddle ashore every evening after a day in the ocean. There is a grandstand so humans can watch and enjoy as these penguins relax on shore in their nests. There are also the famous Moeraki Boulders, ancient geological wonders about 20 miles south of the property. These rocks can grow up to 2 meters high and scientists say that they each took about 4-5 million years to form. Additionally, there is a 185-mile bike trail that runs from the Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean for any glampers looking to ride.
