At under an hour from the property, Tekapo Springs at Lake Tekapo offers outdoor hot pools, ice skating, and snow tubing in the winter, as well as spa treatments at the day spa. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is great for all sorts of outdoor activities, such as hiking, boat tours, and wildlife tours, as well as ski and snow tours in the winter, and air tours too.
At just under two hours away, even more outdoor activities are available in Wanaka, such as a 12,000-foot sky tandem sky dive or ‘funyaking’ on the Dart River. In Omarama, guests can explore the clay cliffs and even experience a glider flight with Glide Omarama.
