Welcome to this tiny house situated on a scenic 9 hole country golf course with breathtaking views over the #4 moat hole and sweeping fairways. Sit back and watch golfers chase an elusive hole-in-one.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a round of golf or disc golf (with equipment available for hire). Our licensed on-site cafe offers light meals and refreshments. You could even join in a game of paintball in our apocalyptic abandoned City of Purgatory.

The Space:
It sits 15 minutes from the town of Wakefield in New Zealand's Tasman region. The Great Taste Cycle Trail, Spooners Tunnel and famous Wakefield Bakery are just a few of the attractions in the area.
Lydia’s Lodge offers split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, excellent bathroom facilities, outdoor seating and a gas BBQ on request. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas heated shower for your use. It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment. When planning to spend your tiny house NZ escape here, we advise you to bring your basic food necessities with you. Clean, filtered drinking water is available on site.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, golf course, licenced cafe with pool table, TV and table tennis facilities. Access to the paintball field is dependent on whether it is in use but the host will be able to advise you on this. The price of accommodation includes a 9 or 18 hole round of golf or disc golf per person staying.

Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

- WiFi and TV are available 200 metres away from the tiny house at the cafe. Coverage for Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark services are weak in the area
- We have a friendly dog on-site
- Please advise the hosts if you have guests or visitors
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home
- Compost/recycling bins are provided to dispose of rubbish
- The Licensed One Shot Cafe offers light meals and refreshments with prior arrangement
- The paintball field may be in operation for a few hours between 10.30am - 5 pm (mainly over the weekends)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please note that occasional motor homes may park over for the night, but your view and privacy will not be obstructed.
- Due to the dam, waterways and potentially unstable rocks on the golf course; we advise guests to exercise caution when wandering close to the waterways and keep a close watch on children
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
