Set in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, this five-day trekking experience is unique and perfect for intrepid glampers from around the world. The trip begins in Cusco, the once capital city of the Inca Empire. The Ausangate Route carves through a dramatic landscape made up of glaciers, pristine lakes, ancient trails, and snow-capped mountains. Some trails may be more challenging than others but every bit worth the unique experience.

From Cusco to the temple of Checaupe on day one, glampers will explore the picturesque upper valley of Pitumarca and enjoy the sights and sounds of native Andean music. On day two, glampers trek along the glacier valley of Phinaya, home to alpacas and llamas. The trail to Mt. Santa Catalina climbs past Pjachaj waterfalls, which offers astounding vistas and serene experiences.

Glampers trek the first mountain pass on day three and ascend to an elevation of 5,100 meters. Panoramic views abound and the stillness of nature alongside glaciers and dramatic shifts in the landscape get the adrenaline pumping and ease the mind and soul at the same time. On day four, glampers hike up the next mountain pass and descend past Lake Kayrawiri. During this hike, glampers are surrounded by vibrant hillsides and rugged peaks, passing vast valleys below before arriving at Mt. Vinicunca.

The final day involves a trek up the last mountain pass, where glampers can admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. On the way to Trapiche, where the trail ends, glampers will pass a Karst limestone rock forest and encounter impressive fauna and flora before the trip back to Cusco.
