About this place

This quiet Moroccan yurt is located in a valley of Cornwall, England, within ancient Cornish stone walls and surrounded by green woodlands and hooting owls. The yurt can accommodate two guests, with canvas walls stretching up from the earth and forming a dome over the cozy double bed. Linens are provided. Bathroom facilities are shared and are a short walk from the yurt.

Kitchen equipment is provided and includes general cookware, a fridge, a stove, a toaster, a juicer, a coffeemaker, and a tea kettle. There is a wooden dining table for four, where guests can enjoy meals alongside the crackling wood-burning fireplace.

Glampers will enjoy an abundance of facilities during their stay. The property is proud to be eco-friendly and strongly encourages the practice of composting. There are multiple compost heaps scattered throughout the grounds, and guests are asked to contribute any uncooked food or peelings. Leftover cooked food, on the other hand, can be fed to the chickens. There are 25 chickens on this site and they provide fresh golden eggs to the guests. The shared toilet facilities are also composts, which is a system that uses little to no water. Non-compostable items may be recycled in labeled bins. A free box of firewood is provided to help glampers keep warm on colder nights.

Linens are provided, however guests should bring their own towels.
