This shepherd's hut rental is a hidden treasure of the Cornish Riviera in England. Sleeping accommodations include a cozy double bed as well as a single bunk above it. Linens are provided. The entire interior is covered with rustic wooden paneling, so glampers will feel as though they are sleeping right in the middle of the surrounding nature. Bathroom facilities are shared and are a short walk from the hut. Across the babbling brook, guests will find that they have access to a second hut, which contains a kitchen space. There is a fridge, a stove, a barbecue, a tea kettle, and an outdoor sink. The views outside can include wildlife such as horses, chickens, ducks, and organic gardens.
Glampers will enjoy an abundance of facilities during their stay. The property is proud to be eco-friendly and strongly encourages the practice of composting. There are multiple compost heaps scattered throughout the grounds, and guests are asked to contribute any uncooked food or peelings. Leftover cooked food, on the other hand, can be fed to the chickens. There are 25 chickens on this site and they provide fresh golden eggs to the guests. The shared toilet facilities are also composts, which is a system that uses little to no water. Non-compostable items may be recycled in labeled bins. A free box of firewood is provided to help glampers keep warm on colder nights.
Linens are provided, however guests should bring their own towels.
