About this place
This rustic holiday cabin is tucked away in a peaceful valley in the county of Cornwall, England. It is made of strawbales, which give it outstanding natural insulation. The cabin can accommodate a maximum of three guests. A cozy double bed sits in an iron frame, and a plush sofa offers a bonus sleeping arrangement or simply a place to curl up and read a book. Linens are provided. Bathroom facilities are shared when it comes to toilets, but the cabin does have a private shower. There is also a general kitchen including a fridge, a stove, a toaster, a tea kettle, a juicer, a coffeemaker, and cookware.
Outside, the deck overlooks the apple orchard and the traditional Cornish fields.
Glampers will enjoy an abundance of facilities during their stay. The property is proud to be eco-friendly and strongly encourages the practice of composting. There are multiple compost heaps scattered throughout the grounds, and guests are asked to contribute any uncooked food or peelings. Leftover cooked food, on the other hand, can be fed to the chickens. There are 25 chickens on this site and they provide fresh golden eggs to the guests. The shared toilet facilities are also composts, which is a system that uses little to no water. Non-compostable items may be recycled in labeled bins. A free box of firewood is provided to help glampers keep warm on colder nights.
Linens are provided, however guests should bring their own towels.
