Within a 10-minute drive to the north and the east, guests will find seven parks and natural areas: Henry's Hollow Pine Barrens State Forest, Sears Bellow County Park, Hubbard County Park, Maple Swamp County Park, Westhampton Dwarf Pine Plains Preserve, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, and David A. Sarnoff Preserve. About 15-minute minutes to the south, they will also find Shinnecock County Park West and Ponquogue Beach, which are set on a strip of land dividing Shinnecock Bay from the Atlantic Ocean.
More natural areas can be reached within a 20-minute drive to the east: Tuckahoe Woods Preserve, Wolf Swamp Sanctuary, and Emma Rose Elliston Park. Driving to these natural areas, guests will also pass four golf courses: Sebonack Golf Club, Southampton Golf Club, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, and National Golf Links of America.

With more than a dozen parks and natural areas within a 20-minute drive of the vacation rental, guests will have no shortage of opportunities to reconnect to the great outdoors. For hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing, guests can visit Henrys Hollow Pine Barrens State Forest, Westhampton Dwarf Pine Plains Preserve, Tuckahoe Woods Preserve, Wolf Swamp Sanctuary, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, and David A. Sarnoff Preserve. In the winter, the trails of the latter can also be used for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
In addition to hiking trails, Quogue Wildlife Refuge also offers guided kayak tours on Old Ice Pond, Quantuck Creek, and Quantuck Bay. For more paddling adventures, guests can head to Shinnecock Bay, where they can book stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals and tours through Adventure Paddleboards.
For swimming, guests can visit Shinnecock County Park West and Ponquogue Beach—or they can simply walk out the vacation rental's door and jump into its outdoor swimming pool.
