In the warmer months, guests will find hiking grounds, mountain climbing, and fishing at hand. This property offers year-round easy access to the center of Indian Lake. For kayaking, canoeing and other water sports, there are access points on several lakes nearby. There is a small pond, an authentic Adirondack lean-to, a fire pit, and a picnic table down the hill below the accommodation. A fun fact about the property is that they have the only original, handcrafted totem pole in Indian Lake.
The closest beach is on Chain Lakes Road about three miles away off of Route 30, and Lewey Lake Campsite area has good swimming, too, located at about 12 miles south of the property, across from Indian Lake Islands Campsite Area.
