Unique log shelter | Lodging in the Adirondacks, NY
This lean-to glamping getaway is ideally located in the Adirondacks near Saranac Lake in New York and can accommodate up to six glampers. The shelter is three-sided and provides an open sleeping area, ample seating, tables, and a futon. There is a camp stove, pots, pans, and utensils for cooking as well as a cooler to store food. The picnic table is located under a big screen tent. In the evening, glampers can gather around the fire pit, enjoy al fresco cooking, roast s'mores, and share stories of the adventures past. For nature enthusiasts, there are an abundance of hiking/biking trails that can be accessed with plenty of outdoor activities in the surrounding area that are sure to keep glampers busy during the day.
There is an outhouse nearby. Glampers also have access to nearby bathroom facilities with hot showers, for an additional fee.
Staying at this lean-to rental offers a unique experience in the great outdoors of the Adirondacks and is perfectly secluded. There is ample seating both indoors and outside as well as mosquito netting for those balmy summer nights. Additionally, there is a camp stove as well as pots and pans for cooking.
Guests have access to bathroom facilities, with optional hot showers for an additional fee.

Glampers are asked to bring along sleeping bags, pillows, and ice for cooler. Some guests choose to bring tents and use the lean-to as a shelter.

Deep in the Adirondacks of New York State, Paul Smiths and the surrounding area offer a wealth of outdoor recreation for nature enthusiasts to reconnect with the great outdoors. Saranac Lake is close by and offers outdoor activities all year round. Here, glampers can hit the trails and hike to the summit of Baker Mountain or they can enjoy a scenic walk to Middle Saranac Lake beach where they can swim. Adirondack State Park is about 30 miles away in St Regis Falls and offers incredible fall foliage which is great for aspiring photographers, as well as hiking trails across peaks, and the pristine waters of Lake Placid. St. Regis Canoe Area boasts paddling routes while those that enjoy winter sports can head to Mt. Pisgah Recreation Center in Saranac Lake. Here, glampers will find multiple downhill skiing and snowboarding trails, snowshoeing trails, and a tubing hill.
