Beautifully Renovated Barn in Upstate New York
A unique renovated, four-season rustic chic cabin with an open, loft-like floor plan, lovingly renovated by local artisans. The Barn sleeps a max of five guests and features four sleeping nooks; one king, two queens (first floor and loft), and two twins (next to the the king nook). These five beds are distributed over the three different levels; ground, second floor, and loft.
The property is located in the heart of New York's Hudson Valley, an easy escape from the big city anytime of the year. It's a green oasis from Spring to Summer, a golden getaway in the Fall and it turns into a Winter Wonderland in the cold months. The 4.5 acres are surrounded by a stream where guests can find a dippin' hole with a pebble beach and a small yoga deck, three fire pits and an inviting picnic area with a large cedar table by the pond.
In the summer, the barn cools down with two window air-conditioners and glampers can cool down at the spacious, private outdoor shower while gazing at the trees and sky. In the cold months, it heats up with a highly efficient wood-burning stove. All the wood is neatly stacked inside and the Barn is pre-heated for your arrival.
On the ground floor, glampers will find a nook by the piano and a thick queen futon mattress on a wooden frame. This nook can be used for sleeping or as a day bed. On the second floor, there is a king nook with a brand-new plush king coil mattress on a wooden bed frame. Next to it, the twin nook has 2 beds with brand new casper mattresses. All the beds have organic 100% cotton sheets, wool blankets -seasonal- and duvet covers. The loft nook, has a brand new Casper queen mattress on the floor and a calming view of the creek. The upstairs bathroom has a claw-foot tub with shower hookup, a sink, a toilet, a mirror, and toiletries. Bath towels are provided, but guests are asked to bring creek/outdoor towels.
The barn's galley style kitchen is fully equipped for glamper's cooking pleasure. You will find it stocked with plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and pans. There's also a sub-zero fridge, a convection oven, a four burner cooktop, and a large sink. Guests should note that there is no dishwasher. There is also a brand new gas grill on the deck just outside the kitchen. Guests can also use the fire pit to cook! The back deck is outfitted with seating and a dining table and is perfect for summer cookouts.
Guests staying here will enjoy a plethora of amenities and facilities to make them feel right at home. Guests will find free Wi-Fi to stay connected during their getaway. For entertainment, there's a piano, a sound system with an iPod hookup, an eclectic library, and a small flat-screen TV with a DVD player, however, there is no cable. There is also a wood-burning stove for guests to cozy up to. Organic linen and towels are provided.
Outside, guests will find a shower, a back deck with ample seating, a barbecue, and a fire pit.

Tivoli is a tiny village that's friendly and quaint. It's centrally located between Rhinebeck and Hudson with Germantown and Red Hook along the way. It's an awesome spot to explore the Mid-Hudson Valley. There is everything from farms to old mansions, from antiquing to watching cabaret at the Spiegeltent or high-end performances at the Frank Gehry Performing Arts Center. Visit Olana, catch experimental music at the Basilica Hudson, and take a look at the future MAI building (Marina Abramovic Institute). That's not even mentioning all of the wonderful dining experiences all the way from Rhinebeck to Hudson.
Some other spots worth visiting within Tivoli include the following:
Murray's Coffee Shop: Restaurant with a patio
Tivoli Bakery: Delicious sweets like chocolate brioches
Santa Fé: Mexican restaurant with a porch
Osaka: Affordable sushi
Pan Zur: A romantic, fancy tapa-inspired restaurant and wine bar with a porch
A yarn shop
A bead shop
Tangent Theater
Tivoli Gallery
Kaatsbaan: A dance performance space
Traghaven: Local pub within walking distance
Two massage parlors
For the adventurous glampers, there is Tivoli Bays (there are multiple entrances close to the barn) for kayaking, paddle boarding, bike riding, or even just hiking.
Also worth noting are these nearby sites, and their distance from the glamping site.
Bard College, Bard Waterfall Frank Gehry Performing Art Center, Spiegeltent in the Summer, and Tivoli Bays are all just five minutes away.
Germantown and Red Hook are 10 minutes away.
Rhinebeck and Husdon are 18 minutes away.
The Omega Institute is 30 minutes away.
