Pymatuning State Park is a massive park covering 21,122 acres. The majority of the park is in Pennsylvania with the exception of 3,512 acres which are found in Ohio. Stunning scenery and pristine lakes are sure to impress visitors. Deerpark, a family-owned facility started in 1953, will make for a fun day with the family. Children will delight in seeing many domestic and exotic animals and can even do some feeding. There are also pony rides and a train for more fun and excitement.
Jamestown itself offers shopping, antiquing and dining. The in-town theater, Movies at Meadville, offers an opportunity to see some of the most current movies. Conneaut Cellars Winery and Jamestown Soapworks are both noteworthy establishments. Golfing, fishing and boat rentals present other recreational options while several nearby areas hold special events offering year-round entertainment.
