Guests can rent a boat and cruise the river, fish off the banks, and swim in the cool waters. Another day, guests can rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle board and explore the backwaters on the Reno Bottoms Canoe Trail. This 3-14 mile trail is a designated Refuge Area.
In the fall guests can cycle along the Mississippi River Trail or explore the Yellow River State Forest that spans 8,500 acres. The Yellow River State Forest and Mt. Hosmer have miles of hiking trails, with rugged terrain, beautiful woodlands, wildlife, and some great spots for picnics. In the winters, snowmobiling is very popular in the area.
