These two adjoining cabin rentals can be found in the San Juan Mountains, Colorado, and are the perfect choice for a group getaway. They can sleep a total of 24 guests in total and are ideal for groups traveling together that would like a bit more privacy.
In the first cabin, guests will find a king-size bed, five queen-size beds, and twin-size bunk beds. There are also three bathrooms spread throughout the property to ensure that the whole group has plenty of privacy, including a master bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. This cabin has its own full kitchen and living area where guests can prepare meals and relax together. Outside, guests can soak in the rural views from the covered deck.
In the second adjoining cabin, a total of eight can be accommodated as there are two queen-size bedrooms and also two queen-size beds in the sleeping loft. The beds are all dressed in comfortable linens to ensure that guests sleep peacefully during their mountain getaway. In the warmer months of the year, nature enthusiast can head to Rio Grande National Forest or San Juan National Forest where they will be able to hike, bike, or horseback ride through the rugged terrain as they admire the beautiful flora and fauna as they go along. Glampers should be sure to take their cameras as they may spot countless animals as they make their way through these two national forests, including bighorn sheep, mountain goats, morning doves, moose, or sage grouse. Those who feel a bit more adventurous can explore the vast wilderness on ATVs. Water sports lovers can venture to nearby lakes and rivers, such as Lake Cristobal, to go kayaking, canoeing, boating, and paddleboarding, before heading to the heart of town to visit the Hinsdale County Museum.
Keen fishermen can make their way to Lake Fork of Gunnison where they will be able to cast their lines in the early morning and try to reel in salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout, perch, or cutthroat. Even when the seasons change, guests will always have things to do. Guests can cross-country ski or snowmobile through the snow-covered terrain and admire the stunning sceneries before heading to Blue Mesa Lake to go ice fishing with the whole family.
