This charming log cabin boasts a secluded setting on a campsite in Lake City, Colorado. The cabin has been restored to ensure that guests are very comfortable and can sleep a total of five guests. This makes it ideal for families and groups hoping to explore the outdoors.

There are two queen-size beds in the cabin, along with a twin-size couch. The beds are dressed in comfy linens to help guests sleep well and there is also a full bathroom in the cabin that offers plenty of privacy.

Guests will have no trouble preparing meals for the group as there is a kitchen with a large dining table and plenty of helpful utensils. Glampers are also welcome to use the communal fire pit during their stay.

Despite the rural setting, guests will feel right at home during a stay at this campsite as a wide range of deluxe facilities can be enjoyed. In the warmer months of the year, nature enthusiast can head to Rio Grande National Forest or San Juan National Forest where they will be able to hike, bike, or horseback ride through the rugged terrain as they admire the beautiful flora and fauna as they go along. Glampers should be sure to take their cameras as they may spot countless animals as they make their way through these two national forests, including bighorn sheep, mountain goats, morning doves, moose, or sage grouse. Those who feel a bit more adventurous can explore the vast wilderness on ATVs. Water sports lovers can venture to nearby lakes and rivers, such as Lake Cristobal, to go kayaking, canoeing, boating, and paddleboarding, before heading to the heart of town to visit the Hinsdale County Museum.

Keen fishermen can make their way to Lake Fork of Gunnison where they will be able to cast their lines in the early morning and try to reel in salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout, perch, or cutthroat. Even when the seasons change, guests will always have things to do. Guests can cross-country ski or snowmobile through the snow-covered terrain and admire the stunning sceneries before heading to Blue Mesa Lake to go ice fishing with the whole family. Guests can also go for a magnificent sleigh ride or head to the Lake City Ski Hill where they will be able to ski or snowboard down the powdery slopes before heading back home to sip on a mug of hot cocoa.
