Guests staying at this beautiful cabin rental can look forward to escaping to the great outdoors to appreciate the beauty that surrounds Salida in Colorado. There is a total of three bedrooms in this cabin. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the loft bedroom has two twin-size beds. The bedrooms all feature new mattresses, all new designer bedding with alternative down comforters, duvets, quilts, plush polar fleece blankets, alternative down pillows, and high thread count sheets.
Additionally, there are two bathrooms in this property and each contains ample storage/level space on and in antique dressers within closets, designer room darkening Roman shades, and mini blinds for light direction. Glampers will find the kitchen to be fully stocked with designer wares so they can look forward to cooking up some delicious meals each day. The dining table can seat everyone comfortably, and there is additional space at the kitchen island, so guests can enjoy tucking into their meals together. The living room has both a comfy sofa, and cozy armchair where glampers can settle down in the evening with a good book, or enjoy a movie night.
Outside, there is a hot tub, perfect for relaxing in after a long day of hiking or biking through the mountains and forests. Additionally, guests can fire up the grill in the evenings and cook up a mouthwatering steak or perfectly grill a freshly caught fish. Afterward, guests can sit around the fire pit as the stars come out overhead, the perfect end to a full and enjoyable day.
This cabin is the perfect place to unwind and relax, with a sumptuous hot tub the perfect place to take in views of the great outdoors. The rental also has free WiFi, a landline telephone with free local calls, a high definition flat screen TV with a Sony DVD/CD player and Bose speakers. Glampers will be able to enjoy a number of fun activities including white-water rafting, jeep, and ATV trails, soaking in natural hot springs, hiking, exploring historical areas, gem collecting, wildlife viewing, and the absolute peace of nature. This is the perfect rental base to appreciate all of the aforementioned activities.
The shady front porch is the place to relax on a hot summer day. A leisurely walk down the drive yields a view of the Wilsey ditch and grassy meadows. A variety of wildlife drink from the ditch. The sheep viewing meadow is adjacent to the property. Glampers will have a front-row seat to the mountain they climb in order to reach the meadow.
This glamping site is the perfect base for mass exploration, world-renowned white-water rafting, or fishing on the Arkansas River or nearby lakes, soaking in Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, wildlife viewing on the property. Evenings can be spent stargazing the night sky after days of walking trails such as CDOT and Colorado Trail, hiking, touring ghost towns (St. Elmo, Hancock, Tincup) and other historic sites. Glampers can take a Jeep up the four by four trails (complete maps inside cabin), and go gem and mineral collecting on Mt. Antero and Ruby Mountain. Winters can be spent snowshoeing, downhill skiing at Monarch, Nordic skiing, and sledding.
