Should guests want to explore the area a bit, there is the Mohawk State Forest in less than an hour's drive away, or guest can cross the border into Massachusetts and visit the Mount Everett State Reservation.

The Twin Lakes lie further north where O'Hara's Landing Marina provides boat rentals including kayaks, fishing boats, rowboats, and pontoon boats. The numerous state parks and forests offer great hiking and exciting biking. Bash Bish Falls State Park features an incredible waterfall which cascades its way through a series of gorges before dropping 60 feet into a sparkling pool below, which is well worth a visit. For those looking to take it easy, there are numerous wineries and breweries in the area to explore, and guests can grab a bottle of their favorite to enjoy back at the glamping site.
