This historic and spacious mansion overlooks an expansive green lawn for a getaway near Hartford, Connecticut, and can accommodate up to 16 guests, perfect for a large group of friends or family. Constructed in 1904 and beautifully kept in a sophisticated New England-style, this stately accommodation has seven bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a half bathrooms.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a grand foyer with original French doors that lead onto the portico overlooking the south lawn. The mansion has two stunning, over-sized master bedrooms, each with king-size beds and an ensuite bathroom. There are two more bedrooms with king-size beds, and another with two twins and another with a queen-size bed. The seventh bedroom, available during the summer, features a queen-size bed and eclectic decor. There are two bathrooms on the second level. All the bedrooms are beautifully-furnished, and all linens and towels are provided.

In the spacious living area, guests can relax and unwind on the comfortable sofas and enjoy the warmth of the large fireplace, or step into the media living room to watch TV. There is also a convenient pull out sofa available in the formal living room for additional guests. Designed with large families in mind, there is also an extra seating area and a pool table on the third floor. The mansion also features a fully-equipped kitchen with a commercial range, a fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a large island. There is also a lovely formal dining room with fireplace and chandelier, served by entrances from the butler pantry and main foyer. The mansion also has a washer and dryer and an iron and ironing board.

Outside, guests will find a terrace with patio furniture and a barbecue, ideal for entertaining in the evenings or enjoying the views of the huge south lawn in the day.
