There are more than enough opportunities to relax and enjoy oneself at the site itself, but for guests seeking local attractions, the town of Monterey, Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, and Garrapata State Park are half an hour or less away. Traveling down scenic Highway One, guests can also visit Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, which is about an hour away.
In addition to the parks, there are more than dozen wineries with tasting rooms in the region, with a public bus (Grapevine Express Route 24) making stops at most of them.
