We are Lauri Hines and Dr. Roy Neff, and in 2011 we purchased and renovated our first vacation home in Julian, a lovely 1800s mining town an hour east of San Diego, California.

In 2013, we moved to Oregon, and in January 2015 we purchased and renovated our first home in Oregon on an oceanfront street in Newport that is now Yaquina Surf Camp. It remains one of our guest's best-loved homes.

Since then, we have purchased and renovated a couple of homes most years and now have 13 listings. It is our first offering in the gorgeous Wine Country of Oregon.
This is a large (5 br, 3ba) home that offers guests multiple ways to interact. Friends and family can gather at one of the outside pavilions or in the family room, as well the room and privacy needed for quiet moments together or multiple Zoom meetings with business speed WiFi.

Just 4 blocks to downtown Newberg, with its shops, pubs, tasting rooms and restaurants, and in the heart of the renowned Oregon Wine Country.
We decided to expand into the Wine Country from the Central Oregon Coast, and had been looking for a home in this area for awhile. I am a history geek and knew this was an original farmhouse from the listing pictures. In fact, we believe that this may be the first frame house built in Newberg by the original pioneer settlers, David and Susan Ramsey, in 1857. They had a land grant of 640 acres surrounding the house.

The house was in rough shape when we bought it, and it has taken a year to renovate her. But everything I knew would be wonderful about the house has come to be: The huge, wonderful handbuilt stone fireplace outside the house (the real reason we bought it), the views over the creek to the trees beyond, the location close to downtown, and the warm feel of the house. And in a first for Dream Homes, we created a Secret Speakeasy, perhaps my favorite room in the house..
It is located in Newberg, Oregon, the heart of the Oregon Wine Country! You can walk or make a short drive to dozens of wineries, restaurants, shops and parks. There are also beautiful farm stands, pick-your-own berries, alpaca farms, a monastery that makes some of the worlds best chocolate and did we mention the wine?
There are a number of wonderful small towns to explore in this area. If you like to go antiquing, Aurora is about 15 minutes from here and is considered one of the premier antique historical districts in the country. Don’t miss Aurora Mills for amazing vintage architectural salvage and enjoy lunch on the terrace at Filbert’s, an Old farmhouse that is now serving farm to table and great cocktails
