Off-Grid Cabin | Texas

Located beside the Crappie pond these secure 10' x 20' cabins in the woods are peaceful and quiet. There is a porta-potty near by and a comfort cabin with toilets and showers a short walk away up the hill to the tent-sites area. Included at the site is a charcoal grill, a large fire pit and picnic table. Inside there are two twin floor-mounted futons and a small table with two chairs. There are no services (except for wifi) and no other furniture or equipment so expect to be roughing it.

The roost overlooks a wildlife feeding station and the mountain bike trails runs beside the cabin. The lake is about 1/4 mile away and features a forty foot lake with fishing from five partially covered docks with swim ladders, and boat moorings. UTV's, golf carts, canoes, pedal boats and kayaks are available for rent. Parties, hunting, motorized bikes or boats are not permitted on the property. Fishing is $10.00 per person per stay (children under 12 is free). Firewood is $10.00 per bundle of five logs.

Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking, and biking (no motorized bikes please) around Lake Godstone during their family vacation in Texas. A half-mile from the cabin, guests can find a sports complex with multiple sports courts for their enjoyment. There is also a pistol range on the property meaning there is something for everyone to enjoy during their stay at this rental!

During the evenings, guests can watch many types of wildlife gather around the three wildlife feeds and watering holes. These are monitored and lit with green motion sensor lights ensuring glampers will get a great view of many types of amazing animals.
