Modern Aframe Cabin near Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon A-Frame | Dog-Friendly Cabin Near Williams, AZ with Private Fenced Yard

The Grand Canyon may be what brings you to Northern Arizona, but it’s only the beginning. Our newly built A-frame is located just outside Williams, Arizona, about 45 minutes from Grand Canyon National Park and minutes from Bearizona, Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, Kaibab National Forest, and historic Route 66. It’s the perfect place to experience Northern Arizona while enjoying the peace and quiet and dark skies that makes this area so special.

Whether you’re planning a Grand Canyon vacation, hiking through the pines, off-roading nearby forest roads, or simply looking for a slower pace, you’ll have a comfortable place to come home to at the end of each day.

The cabin comfortably sleeps four with a king bedroom in the loft overlooking the trees and Bill Williams mountain and a downstairs queen bedroom with blackout shades for guests who prefer not to use stairs or simply enjoy sleeping in. Two full bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers make getting ready easy, whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family.

The open living area brings everyone together with soaring ceilings, oversized windows, a cozy wood stove, Smart TV, Bluetooth surround sound, and fast Starlink Wi-Fi for streaming or remote work.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, but one of our favorite rituals happens before breakfast. Grind a fresh batch of locally roasted coffee beans, brew a cup with the premium Fellow coffee system, and step onto the mountain-facing deck. Quiet mornings, cool pine-scented air, and wide-open views have a way of convincing guests to stay in their chair just a little longer before heading out to explore.

As the day winds down, the same deck becomes the perfect place to gather around the propane fire feature, watch another Northern Arizona sunset, and enjoy some of the darkest skies in the country.

Dogs are welcome because adventures are better when they come too. The 1.5-acre fully fenced goat-wire yard gives them plenty of room to stretch their legs while you relax nearby. We provide pet bowls and furniture covers and simply ask that pets are supervised, cleaned up after, and kept off furniture and bedding if muddy or shedding.

Surrounded by nature, wildlife sightings are part of the experience. It’s common to see jackrabbits, deer, elk, birds, and other native wildlife wandering through the area. You may even hear elk bugling during the fall season.

Whether you’re here to check the Grand Canyon off your bucket list or to discover everything else Northern Arizona has to offer, we hope this becomes the place you look forward to returning to after each day’s adventure
We designed and built this A-frame ourselves, combining our love for interior design with a dream of creating a place we’d want to stay in ourselves. Every decision, from the layout to the finishes and touches throughout the home, was made with comfort, quality, and connection in mind.

We fell in love with Northern Arizona for its cooler mountain air, towering pines, incredible dark skies, and endless opportunities to explore. Whether you’re visiting Grand Canyon National Park, wandering Route 66, or simply looking for a quiet place to recharge, we hope you’ll experience everything we love about this area.

As local hosts, we enjoy sharing our favorite spots and helping guests discover that the Grand Canyon is just one of many reasons to visit Northern Arizona. We hope your stay leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning your next trip back.
What guests tell us they love most is how easy it is to settle into the slower pace here. Mornings begin with fresh coffee on the deck, afternoons can be as adventurous or relaxing as you choose, and evenings end beneath incredible star-filled skies.

Because of our central Northern Arizona location, you can visit Grand Canyon National Park, Bearizona, Williams, Route 66, Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, and Kaibab National Forest without packing up and moving to a new hotel each night.

If you’re traveling with your dog, the fully fenced 1.5-acre yard means they get a vacation too. And because we designed and built the home ourselves, you’ll find thoughtful details, quality finishes, and comfortable spaces throughout that make it feel more like staying in a well-loved home than a standard vacation rental.
What makes this property different isn’t just the A-frame design, it’s the experience we set out to create. We built this home ourselves and carefully selected every finish, furnishing, and detail to feel warm, comfortable, and intentional rather than like a typical vacation rental.

Here, you’ll find space to breathe. Start the day with fresh coffee on the deck, spend the afternoon exploring Northern Arizona, then come back to unwind under a sky full of stars. With a fully fenced yard for your pup, mountain views, modern comforts, and a peaceful setting just outside Williams, it’s a place where you can truly slow down and enjoy the moments between the adventures.
The house sits within a residential neighborhood just outside of Kaibab National Forest about .6 miles from the main hwy. The road to get to the house is a primitive (dirt road). Closeby is a Chevron gas station for snacks or other necessities outside of the Safeway grocery store in the town of Williams.
