This fabulous Akaroa accommodation is perfect for South Island holidays. The retreat can sleep three guests as there is one bunk bed and one single bed. Guests also have a nice deck to watch birds swooping from branch to branch.

Guests will find a shower and toilet block just a few steps away from the rental as well as a fully equipped communal kitchen and living room. The kitchen includes two electric stoves, two fridges, an electric jug, a toaster, a microwave, and plenty of cooking and eating utensils.

During their stay in South Island, guests will be able to spend the night in the middle of a penguin colony with rare breeds of sheep and safe swimming beaches all around.

Note that to access the bay you will need a 4WD vehicle as the road is steep, narrow, made of gravel and sometimes close to the edge feeling like a one-way lane.

There is no food available at the property so guests need to do shopping beforehand, either in Akaroa or in Christchurch.

A four-wheel-drive car is mandatory for any freedom visits to the cottage.

The accommodations are available from 15th of April to 15th of October ONLY. For availability on the package for the rest of the year, guests should contact the hosts.
