Walking or biking along the coast is another great way to enjoy the jaw-dropping natural scenery.

The Pigeon Bay walkway is no more than a 15 minute drive to the start and boasts some amazing coastal views. Akaroa is just 25 minutes away with world class restaurants, bars, shopping, dolphin and whale tours. There is a fantastic little movie theater which is worth a visit on a rainy day. The Akaroa museum embraces real local history. Okains Bay is also 20 minutes away and has a local museum with many Maori artifacts. There is an 18 hole golf course in Duvauchelle, located in a beautiful rural setting, guests will enjoy a visit here.
