This charming Akaroa cabin is perfect for South Island getaways. The quirky unit can sleep two guests and comes with a very wide sleeping area with a comfortable queen bed. Guests will also have a small table and two comfortable chairs as well as a deck to enjoy a nice glass of wine
Glampers will find a shower and toilet block just a few steps away from the South Island cabin, as well as a fully equipped communal kitchen and living room that includes two electric stoves, two fridges, an electric jug, a toaster, a microwave, and all cooking and eating utensils.
During their unique stay in New Zealand, guests will spend the night in the middle of a penguin colony and enjoy some fabulous safe swimming beaches.

A four-wheel-drive car is mandatory for any freedom visits to the cottage.

There are plenty of activities to do on the property. Glampers can sign up for penguin sighting tours, a sea kayaking tour, or a scenic nature tour on site. Guests can also visit the town of Akaroa. Here guests can visit landmarks such as The Giant’s House, the Akaroa Museum, and the Akaroa Lighthouse. There is a selection of wildlife adventures and cheese and farm visits. There is a visitor center in town that can help guests with any activities they wish to do. Lastly, when it is time to refuel, guests can head over to the restaurants and cafes such as The Little Bistro, Ma Maison, and The Brasserie Kitchen and Bar, all located in town.
