The cottage is on a glacial moraine, 530metres above sea level, at the base of the stunning Ben Ōhau mountain range. There are amazing views across an old river plain towards the Benmore mountain range. It's a 1-hour walk or 30-minute bike ride to beautiful Lake Ōhau, which is great for swimming or boating in summer. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo are a scenic 45-minute drive.

The sustainable & beautiful cottage has mountain views, and hiking trails nearby, and is 45-min to Mt Cook/Tekapo. Facilities include bedroom 1 with queen bed, bedroom 2/lounge + sofa bed, kitchen, Wi-Fi, SmartTV, log burner, & wood-fired hot tub.
