New Jersey is a state in the northeastern part of the United States with about 130 miles of the Atlantic coastline. While many may hear New Jersey and think of the Jersey Shore, there is so much more to the Garden State.

Even in colder weather, New Jersey still shines. 

In the winter, one of the best things to do in New Jersey is hit the slopes. Mountain Creek has over 150 acres of skiable trails with a terrain park and night skiing. There is also Campgaw Mountain Ski Resort with a view of the Manhattan skyline or the High Point Cross Country Ski Center. Here you can go cross-country skiing on trails in High Point State Park.

New Jersey’s weather is typical of the mid-Atlantic, and New England regions of the United States. It has four distinct seasons, with hot and humid summers and cold winters with some snow. During the summer, temperatures range from lows around 60° F to highs around 85/90° F. In the winter, the weather gets cold and New Jersey has lows around 20° F and highs around 45° F.
