These beautiful accommodations in Andalusia, just nine kilometers in to the Sierra de las Nieves nature reserve, are a perfect retreat for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. With not a soul around for over five kilometers, and on a 12 hectare property, this is the ideal getaway. The town of Ronda is a 30-minute drive away, and 70 minutes away is the beautiful town of Málaga, the second largest city in Andalusia.
The closest village, El Burgo, is near the entrance of the nature reserve. There is a wide variety of wildlife in the surrounding area, so much so that UNESCO declared it a Biosphere Reserve. For the climbers, the nature reserve is surrounded by rock faces and El Chorro gorge is just a car ride away. The Nacimiento del Rio Grande cave, the deepest cave system in Spain, is also accessible by car.

This location is primarily a yoga retreat, with an instructor that has been blessed to teach by K. Pattabhi Jois, the creator of ashtanga yoga. The yoga deck overlooks the surrounding landscape and the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de las Nieves, offering an even more naturally serene atmosphere.
Massage treatments: In addition to the yoga classes, there is also the option of having a professional masseuse perform holistic therapies such as Thai yoga massages and craniosacral therapy. These methods revitalize the body, as well as the mind, increasing the sensation of rest and serenity that this retreat offers.
Hiking: Being in a natural reserve, there are many hiking options, whether you want to enjoy a short post-meal walk or a day-long hike in the mountains. The mountain peaks reach 1,919 meters and extend over 300 kilometers.
Rock climbing: For potential climbers there are many locations in the reserve as well as out for you to explore! According to the Huesco scale of bouldering, this surrounding environment ranges from V0 to V8, and the Chorro gorge is no more than an hour away.
Cave diving: There are many natural caves in the reserve of Sierra de las Nieves. These can be horizontal as well as vertical, and many are open to the public. Big ones such as Cuevas del Moro, Hoyos de Lifa, and Hoyos del Pilar are all but a few hours driving. The Nacimiento del Rio Grande cave is also a car ride away.
Water bolsa: A water tank at the top of the property is open for swimming, a good alternative to the warmer hours of the day. It is next to the old church.
For the children: Adventure walks, fun yoga, swimming, music, circus skills, organized games, singing and dance sessions. All activities are organized and supervised by a professional child entertainer, trained for over 25 years in childcare.
Shopping: There is a small store on the property where apparel and local products can be purchased.
Spring Water River: A day trip to the river on the reserve. A picnic and transportation to and from the location will be provided. A good trip for sunbathing, swimming and exploring more of the reserve.
Day Trip to Ronda: An hour’s ride away is the historical town of Ronda, built on both sides of a cliff. There are three main bridges connecting the town and its canyon together: Puente Romano, Puente Viejo and Puente Nuevo. This town has the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain, with the yearly Corrida Goyesca. There are many historical surroundings to this city, such as the Baños árabes.
